Creative — Copywriter


The Copywriter is an integral part of the PRIME Creative team and helps to provide support to various clients and projects

This special someone will regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment and will be involved in writing copy that is clear, concise and conversational. You are equally dependable with concepting and execution and you look forward to the opportunity to work across departments and make a big impact wherever necessary. You possess a strong intuition and want to continue to learn, grow and challenge yourself. You will be dealing with multiple personality types, and need to be able to adapt based on the person you are working and communicating with.

In your role, you will report to the CEO who will drive the strategy and direction for the creative and design team. You will support the strategic goals of the company by focusing on the success of these activities and assisting with meeting the short and long-term objectives of the organization.


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to meet and exceed the needs for our internal marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to the design and production of large-scale digital projects including websites, banners, branding, content and more.
  • Write, edit and publish concise and compelling brand-voiced content (thought leadership, social articles, press/PR, blog posts).
  • Manage the content for the company’s internal social channels.
  • Contribute and be heavily involved in narratives for marketing efforts/projects. Articulate ideas into simple narratives for experience and presentation.
  • Create headlines, hashtags, manifestos and body copy.
  • Help to write case studies.
  • Help to create and develop concepts for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Act as a team player by contributing to the creative execution of the company’s efforts and putting the client and the team before yourself.
  • Responsible for bringing a solid point-of-view with fresh perspectives to the team.
  • Work with minimal processes in place, solving problems by being optimistic and using proactive thought processes and skills.
  • Work across all departments of PRIME Creative, the client, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired results and meet the objectives of the company.
  • Support and grow in the role by actively seeking out and proposing ideas to better improve the company’s marketing operations.
  • Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • 2+ years of experience in a copywriter role.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a creative agency.
  • A high level of mastery of Hubspot or similar, Google Suite, Dropbox, Basecamp, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, Harvest, GoToMeeting, and RingCentral.
  • Bachelor's Degree with coursework in creative or technical writing or a related field is a plus.


  • Able to use excellent communication skills and creative inspiration to collaborate with a large but cohesive team of over 40 individuals from different backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Background in writing across different mediums (web video, social, packaging).
  • A solid point-of-view and a collaborative nature.
  • An open and curious mind and the ability to remain positive even in the most challenging of situations.
  • High level of ability to set goals and priorities in a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to act in a professional manner while working in a creative culture.
  • Follow through and ownership of getting a job completed on time and in-budget even in with tight deadlines.
  • Dedicates time to understand the requested task, or feedback and decisions being made. Isn’t afraid to ask questions to ensure clarity for informed decision making.
  • Comfort navigating a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Communicates effectively one on one and in large groups.
